We dare you...ring the doorbell and introduce yourself. Sounds simple, but it can be intimidating to break the ice—especially if you have nodded hello to a perfect stranger for years. Just do it—you will both feel better.

Another ice-breaker...join or start a Yahoo or Google group for your neighborhood. These groups are a great way to meet your neighbors and to stay informed of neighborhood issues, events, and trivia. We are compiling a list of local neighborhood and community groups-add your own or find one to join!
