Albany Municipal Code Section 2-20, Ordinance No. 2023-02 (student & student-affiliated appointments)
Commission Purpose
The Transportation Commission advises the City Council on transportation policy and project planning and design on City-owned right-of-way.
Commission Composition
The Committee will consist of a total of seven members. Five of the member seats shall be appointed by each of the Council members, individually. Two of the member seats shall be appointed by City Council as a Whole (one for a high school student and one for a high school student or an adult who is affiliated with students). The term runs until the next Municipal election (every 2 years)..
