Committee Purpose
The Climate Action Committee shall serve as a technical advisory committee regarding matters related to climate action and to advise the Council on matters related to reducing greenhouse gases; and adapting to climate change.
Committee Composition
The Committee will consist of a total of seven members. Five of the member seats shall be appointed by each of the Council members, individually. Two of the member seats are appointed by City Council as a Whole (one for a high school student and one for a high school student or an adult who is affiliated with students). The term runs until the next Municipal election (every 2 years).
