The photos in the current homepage rotation were taken by Doug Donaldson. Doug is a hobbyist photographer and Albany resident for the past 42 years. He has an eclectic collection of photographs documenting extensive world travel and frequent local explorations.

In 2007, he had a solo show at the Albany Community Center Gallery and he has been a frequent contributor to Albany Patch. Doug is a former member of the Albany Arts Committee and a current Planning and Zoning Commissioner. He is also on the Albany Community Foundation Board, and works as a mostly-retired urban planner and attorney. His wife, Pat, is a retired Albany elementary school teacher.
