6-1 Pierce Street Park Discussion:
Consultants creating the Master Plan for the Pierce Street Park parcel will meet with Commission and community to discuss finding and ideas to date for this project. Consultants will be presenting again at the Planning & Zoning meeting, Sept 12, the Traffic & Safety meeting, Sept 27, and tentatively scheduled to present to Council, Oct 15.

6-2 Memorial Park Ball Field Section B :
The Commission will discuss current conditions and uses of Section B at the Memorial Park ball field. Update from the Dog Ad Hoc Committee and Working Group meetings regarding recommendations for signage, hours, maintenance, and use.

7. NEW BUSINESS

7-1 Tree Removal Request:
Residents at 834 Pomona are requesting that two aging camphor trees be removed.

Staff Recommendation: The camphor trees in question should be removed and replaced with a more suitable approved tree species
