With funds from Measure B from the Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC), the City of Albany has been able to partner with merchants and the Albany strollers and Rollers (AS&R) for the installation of additional bike racks in the commercial district in Albany.  These bicycle-shape racks have added color to the urban environment and carry a strong message that Albany is a community that promotes bicycling. 

In addition, the Measure B funds have enabled the City to install bike racks at the Middle School, swimming pool, YMCA, the Community Center, and the Albany Library. So, get your bike out and ride around town with confidence that you will find bike parking at your destination!
