1. CALL TO ORDER
2. APPROVAL OF ACTION MINUTES: July 9, 2015
3. PUBLIC COMMENT
For persons desiring to address the Commission/Committee/Board on an item that is not on the agenda please note that each speaker is limited to three (3) minutes. The Brown Act limits the Committee’s ability to take and/or discuss items that are not on the agenda; therefore, such items are normally referred to staff for comment or to a future agenda.

6. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ITEMS ON MATTERS RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
A. Memorial Park Caleb’s Memorial Bench Application: The Commission will consider the application to install a Memorial Bench and plaque in Memorial Park, submitted by Sheri Wong.
Recommendation: That the Commission approve the application to install a bench and plaque in Memorial Park. If approved, the application will go to City Council for final approval on Sept 21, 2015.

B. Tree Removal Application for 910 Ventura Ave: The Commission will review the application for tree removal.
Recommendation: That the Commission approve the removal of one Liquidambar street tree located at 910 Ventura Ave.

C. Lose-Your-Lawn Training and Demonstration Area at Memorial Park: The Commission will receive a presentation and request from Carbon Reduction Action Team to remove the grass area on the east side of the picnic area at Memorial Park.
Recommendation: That the Commission discuss the proposal and make a motion to approve or deny the request.

D. Measure WW Priority List and CIP: The Commission will review the proposed Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) projects going to City Council on September 21, 2015.
Recommendation: That the Commission review the proposed projects being submitted to City Council in the 5 Year CIP and provide feedback, if necessary.

E. Friends of Albany Parks: The Commission will discuss Friends of Albany Parks past events and select Commissioners to participate in upcoming FOAP events.
Dartmouth Tot Lot Clean-Up Recap: August 8
Creekside Park Clean Up: September 19, 9 am
Ohlone Greenway Clean Up: October 3, 9 am
Recommendation: Information only. No action required.
8. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
(Commissioners announce of requests for future agenda items. No public comment will be taken on announcement of future agenda items).
