Traffic & Safety Commission Meeting: Thursday, April 24, 2014, 8:15 PM, Albany City Hall-Council Chambers, 1000 San Pablo Ave., Albany CA 94706. This meeting includes a presentation by City CarShare about the on-street Point of Delivery (POD) program in neighboring cities, and a request to designate selected on-street parking in Albany as PODs. In addition, the meeting will consider extending the red curbs at the intersection of Neilson and Albany Terrace; an initial discussion of the existing Traffic Calming Policy in the City; and a request to support two grant applications for the Caltrans Active Transportation Program.
