3. PUBLIC COMMENT
For persons desiring to address the Commission/Committee/Board on an item that is not on the agenda please note that each speaker is limited to three (3) minutes. The Brown Act limits the Committee’s ability to take and/or discuss items that are not on the agenda; therefore, such items are normally referred to staff for comment or to future agenda.

7-1 Albany Public Art Fund: Chair Goodman will provide an update on the current balance of the Albany Public Art Fund.
Staff Recommendation: Receive Information.

7-2 Albany Community Foundation Mural Donation: Peggy McQuaid will propose the gift of a mural on the outer eastern wall of the Child Care Building at Memorial Park from the Albany Community Foundation.
Staff Recommendation: Receive information and formulate recommendation of the prospective mural project to City Council with pro/con analysis.

7-3 Poet Laureate: The Poet Laureate subcommittee will provide an update.
Staff recommendation: Receive information.

7-4 Arts and Green Festival: Update from the Arts and Green Festival sub-committee.
Staff recommendation: Receive information.

7-5 Albany Film Festival: Member Kobelin will give a wrap-up on the 2014 Albany Film Festival.
Staff recommendation: Receive information.

7-6 Albany Community Center Foyer Gallery: Member Black will provide an update on the Community Center Art Gallery.
Staff Recommendation: Receive Information.


8. NEW BUSINESS

8-1 Social Media Usage by Arts Committee: The committee will discuss the use of social media.
Staff Recommendation: Receive information.

8-2 April Arts Committee Meeting: The Committee will discuss possible change to the date and location of the April meeting.
Staff recommendation: Receive information and make a motion to modify Arts Committee schedule.

9. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
(Commission/Committee/Board Member announcement of requests for future agenda items. No public comment will be taken on announcement of future agenda items). Next Meeting: To be determined.
