3. PUBLIC COMMENT
For persons desiring to address the Commission/Committee/Board on an item that is not on the agenda please note that each speaker is limited to three (3) minutes. The Brown Act limits the Committee’s ability to take and/or discuss items that are not on the agenda; therefore, such items are normally referred to staff for comment or to future agenda.

7-1 Mural at Memorial Park: Chair Goodman will provide an update.
Staff Recommendation: Receive information
7-2 Procedure for City-sponsored and donated Public Art: The Committee will designate a sub-committee that will review current policies and procedures for City sponsored Public Art.
Staff recommendation: That the Committee designates a sub-committee to review current policies and procedures for City sponsored Public Art and present a report to the Committee in September on proposed amendments.
7-3 Community Center Foyer Gallery: Member Black will debrief the committee on the recent gallery opening and discuss the upcoming 2015 selection process.
Staff Recommendation: Receive Information.
7-4 Poet Laureate: The Committee will discuss possible changes to the Albany Poet Laureate program.
Staff Recommendation: Discuss and make changes agreed upon by Committee
8. NEW BUSINESS
8-1 Long Song at Memorial Park: The Committee will discuss upkeep and maintenance of the Public Art Piece at Memorial Park.
Staff Recommendation: For discussion only.
9. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
(Commission/Committee/Board Member announcement of requests for future agenda items. No public comment will be taken on announcement of future agenda items). Next Meeting: September 8th, 2014.
