As the last official Centennial event, the City will host a sit-down dinner on Solano Avenue for the entire City of Albany! On September 27, 2008 please join us in celebrating the City’s 100th birthday while sharing a meal with friends, neighbors and family. The dinner bell will ring at 6:45 pm. To add to the excitement, The Shots will perform live with after-dinner dancing in the street! The theme for the event is Friends, Family and Alumni. City staff is working with volunteers to launch an alumni promotion to encourage Albany High School alumni, former teachers, and former City and School District officials to join us in celebrating Albany’s 100th birthday.
