7-1 UC Village Mixed Use Development: UC Village Mixed Use Development- The 6.3-acre project site in University Village is located to the northwest and southwest of the Monroe Street/San Pablo Avenue intersection. The proposed project includes a 27,000 square foot grocery store, 17,000 square feet of associated retail space, and a 175-unit senior housing project. The purpose of the agenda is to provide the applicants an opportunity to present approach to public art.
Recommendation: the applicants request the Committee make a recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Commission in support of the public art components of the project.
7-2 Poet Laureate: The Poet Laureate subcommittee will provide an update.
Staff recommendation: Receive information.
7-3 Arts Committee Webpage: Committee Member Kobelin will provide an update
on the Arts Committee webpage and request approval.

7-4: Murals on Business in Albany: Chair Goodman will give a report.
7-5 Community Center Foyer Gallery Submissions: The committee will review gallery submissions and choose the quarterly line-up for 2014.

8-1: Use of Albany Arts Committee Logo on Art Walk Posters: The committee will discuss its involvement in advertising of Fall Arts Walk
