6-1 Pierce Street Park Discussion: Consultants assisting with the design of the Pierce Street Park parcel will meet with Commission and community to discuss possibilities and challenges for this project. Informational flyer attached.

7. UNFINISISHED BUSINESS
7-1 Memorial Park Ball Field Section B : The Commission will discuss current conditions and uses of Section B as well as the possibility of installing any additional amenities in Section B. Staff will provide an update on any new information since the June 2012 PR Commission meeting when this same item was discussed. Staff report attached. Section B Map Attached.
Staff Recommendation: That the Parks and Recreation Commission discuss with community potential solutions for maintaining Memorial Park ball field Section B in a manner that will provide multi-use opportunities currently and in the future. Staff is also recommending that no additional amenities such as the suggested benches, water fountain for dogs, and a double gate be installed.
