6. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON MATTERS RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

6-1 Request to red curb (eliminate one parking space) at 400 San Pablo Avenue (Kaady Carwash) due to safety concerns about lack of visibility and potential conflicts between vehicles exiting the mechanical carwash and traffic flow along San Pablo Avenue. Recommended Action: That the Commission approve this request based on staff evaluation of the physical characteristics of the location.

6-2 Request to red curb the 12-foot long space between 920 and 918 Adams Street due to vehicles constantly encroaching into the driveway at 920 Adams Street. Flyer attached.Item 6-2 Memoranum-Adams

Recommended Action: That the Commission consider two options for this location: 1) Assign this space for motorcycle parking only, or 2) Red curb the entire length between the driveways at 920 and 918 Adams.

6-3 Review of Encroachment Permit to allowing widening of the driveway at 821 Hillside Avenue. Public Hearing Notice attachedStaff Report, Attachments to Staff Report.

Recommended Action: That the Commission receive the presentation and provide direction to staff.

6-4 Safe Routes to School Program Adoption by the Albany School Board of Education

Recommended Action: Provide direction to staff on the language of the attached Draft Resolution for the Albany School District.

6-5 Report on the speed survey taken on the 800 Block of Santa Fe Avenue. Report

6-6 Report on the consultant selection for the Complete Streets Plan.

Recommended Action: For information only.

6-7 Report on Council action regarding the Buchanan/Marin Bikeway
