Get Engaged: Commit to Serve Expo

Join us on Monday, January 17th as we honor Martin Luther King and his commitment to service, community and unity by hosting our third annual Commit to Serve Expo.

The Commit to Serve Expo will provide resources, contacts and ideas to assist you in making a pledge of service to your community in 2011. Make this the year you become a Block Captain, or volunteer at your child's school, or help the elderly neighbor with his yard-it is up to you!

Be there to make a pledge of service to your community or donate a coat and canned food item. Last year, we received over 250 pledges of service, 500 coats and over 1,000 lbs of food.

New Expo Activities (both are taking place at the event on January 17th):

• FREE CPR Class from 9:30 am-12:30 pm, call the Community Center to register 524-9283-space is limited.
  
• Onsite Community Center landscaping project with the City's Urban Forester,Tony the Tree Man.
