Memorial Park Fence Proposal: (Click here to see staff report and attachments)

At the March 2011 Commission meeting community members requested that a fence separating a portion of the ball field at Memorial be considered by the Parks and Recreation Commission. The Commission will discuss with the community the pros/cons of the fence and make recommendations to Council accordingly.

Dartmouth Tot Lot Rubber Surface: (Click here to see staff report and attachments)

A number of community members have expressed concerns regarding the rubber surface installation at Dartmouth Tot Lot that was approved by the Commission and Council in March 2011. The Commission has re-agendized this item to allow for additional community input.

Next Meeting:

The next Parks and Recreation Commission meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 9, 2011, 7:00pm.
