The Youth Task Force is responsible for implementing the goals detailed in the City of Albany Youth Master Plan. The Youth Master Plan represents this community’s commitment to supporting parents and guardians to raise healthy and responsible children. The Youth Master Plan was developed in 1995 to assist the City in highlighting the importance of prevention as a tool in reducing youth crime and promoting the need to invest more resources in prevention and intervention strategies for youth.
The Youth Task Force meets on a quarterly basis and is comprised of members from various agencies within the City of Albany who work with youth.
