The Albany Recreation & Community Services Department will be hosting Neighbor 2 Neighbor Workshops on various topics throughout the year. This program is designed to bring neighbors together and share knowledge, information & ideas on how we can build community together!

Feel left out of the loop in your neighborhood? Create a Yahoo or Google group and keep up-to-date with your neighbors. You can plan a block party, organize meals for a sick neighbor, make special announcements, or even alert your neighbors to criminal activity on your block.

In this workshop: learn from other neighbors who are already managing Yahoo/Google groups. Learn how to get started, set preferences, post items, etc. Already have a group? Come and share ideas, tips and meet other moderators.
