Albany Citywide Garage Sale
The Albany Citywide Garage Sale is held on a Saturday in May each year. The Citywide Garage Sale is a great way to reduce, reuse, and recycle materials. Items bought and sold at garage sales help reduce the amount of items that may otherwise be sent to the landfill. People from across the city host garage sales in front of their homes as a way to reduce, reuse, and recycle materials (and make a little extra cash!).

Registration for the 2024 Citywide Garage Sale is now open!
A PDF version can be downloaded here, and hard copies are available at City Hall, the Community Center, and the Senior Center.
Registration is open to Albany residents only. The fee is $10 and must be received by April 19th. You may pay by cash, check, or credit card at the Finance Department in City Hall or mail a check to the address below. Please do not mail cash. Payment cannot be accepted over the phone. Your garage sale listing will not be confirmed until your payment has been received.
