The Arts Committee is putting on a Grand Opening Ceremony for the new sculpture installed in Albany as part of their Sculpture Loan Program.

This sculpture is located at the corner of Masonic Ave. and Washington Ave. (under the Bart tracks). The sculpture is called "Barred Spiral" which is produced by the artist Jeff Downing. This is up in Albany based on a 2 year loan, with the option to extend or purchase for the city.
