Virtual Garden Talk - Getting the Most from your Small-Space Garden

Free to Attend!

Presented by The City of Albany Recreation & Community Services Department & The Berkeley Garden Club:

Drawing on her many years of Bay Area gardening experience, Pam Peirce will share information on year-round garden planning, choosing the best crops and varieties for a small garden, growing edible flowers, planting flowers to attract beneficial insects, and avoiding many of the most common garden pests. Beginner or experienced gardener, you will find plenty of helpful information here.

Pam Peirce is the author of the classic Bay Area gardening book, Golden Gate Gardening. Her writing and photographs appear in several other books for gardeners. She taught gardening at City College of San Francisco and has written a garden column for the San Francisco Chronicle since 2006. Her writing and lectures have helped many gardeners grow more food year-round. She enjoys eating from her home garden and from a small community garden plot in San Francisco. Catch her blog too, at goldengategarden.typepad.com.
