About the Berkley Garden Club:
The Berkeley Garden Club was founded in 1932. Our mission and passion: to further the love of gardening, share knowledge, encourage civic plantings and aid in the protection of native flora. One of our original projects was the planting of Fremontia Park, the triangle formed by Marin, Monterey and The Alameda, now the home of the Berkeley Fire Department. More recently, the club designed and planted a California natives hillside at the Berkeley Rose Garden. We also give financial support to local organizations that share our values. Please visit berkeleygardenclub.org to find out more. Become a member and join us in fellowship and ‘digging in the dirt.’
