The Clean-up (Beginning at 9am)
Friends of Albany Parks members will meet for a Clean-Up Day at the Dartmouth Tot Lot. Each member who attends the Clean-Up Day will receive a bagel breakfast plus an official Friends of Albany Parks T-shirt. This program encourages community members to get involved with the care, maintenance and beautification of their favorite neighborhood parks. Community Discussion (Beginning at 11am)
Once the clean-up is complete, we gather together for a community discussion geared toward developing ideas for further park improvement and getting residents consistently involved in the maintenance. The Community Discussion helps foster a better sense of community and build social capital as neighbors meet and work together.
