Now that over 97% of Albany electricity customers receive carbon free electricity, the City of Albany is partnering with nearby cities and East Bay Community Energy (EBCE) to implement policies and programs to reduce natural gas use in buildings in order to reach our Climate Action goals.
East Bay Community Energy (EBCE) is hosting a community discussion about building electrification and all-electric new construction for north county cities in Downtown Berkeley on Wednesday, April 24th from 5:30pm-7:30pm in the 1947 Center Street multi-purpose room. The input provided at this meeting will guide the City’s next steps toward a carbon-free future.
