East Bay Electrification Expo
- Thursday, February 7, 2019
- 3pm-8pm
- Ed Roberts Campus
- 3075 Adeline St, Berkeley, CA 94703
In partnership with the City of Berkeley, Stopwaste, and the Ecology Center, the City of Albany is supporting this exciting event to promote building electrification projects. The Expo is free and open to the public and will feature manufacturer displays of appliances (e.g. heat pump water heaters and HVAC), induction cooktop demos, a renters corner (all-electric small appliance displays such as an electric tea kettle, InstantPot, portable induction cooktop single burner, etc.) and testimonials from homeowners who have undertaken a variety of electrification projects. Additionally, the Expo offers a workshop for building professionals (architects, contractors, plumbers, electricians, etc.) as well a workshop for residents (homeowners and renters), with special guest presenter Sean Armstrong. Between the workshops there will be opportunity for cross industry business to business, and customer to business networking. The event is supported by East Bay municipalities, Community Choice Energy providers, and several community partners. RSVP and find out more here.
