Economic Development Committee

The purpose of the Economic Development Committee is to advise the City Council on matters related to promoting vital and inviting business areas and advancing economic development within the City. The Committee shall assess the current and ongoing business climate in the City and submit recommendations to the City Council intended to maintain a strong economic base in the City. The Economic Development Committee was established by the City Council on July 6, 2015 and meets on the first Thursday of the month at City Hall.

As a general policy, the Committee will not begin discussion or consideration of an agenda item after 10:00 pm.

Agendas are posted for public inspection in advance of meetings at City Hall, the Albany Community Center, and the Albany Senior Center.
