The City of Albany will host a presentation by Creekside Science on the Monarch Butterfly activity and habitat on Albany Hill. Creekside Science has substantial knowledge and decades of experience studying monarchs and their habitat. Their prior work includes studies of several butterfly species and sites throughout California. In this presentation, Creekside Science will present finding of a recent study of Monarch activities on Albany Hill. The presentation will be at the Public Works Building at 540 Cleveland Avenue at 10:00 am. The presentation will be followed by a site walk of Albany Hill led by Creekside Science beginning at the top of Taft Avenue.
