For persons desiring to address the Commission/Committee/Board on an item that is not on the
agenda please note that each speaker is limited to three (3) minutes. The Brown Act limits the
Committee’s ability to take and/or discuss items that are not on the agenda; therefore, such items
are normally referred to staff for comment or to future agenda.

7-1: Albany Poet Laureate: Member Goodman will provide an update on the Albany Poet
Laureate program.
Recommended Action: Receive information and decide whether to extend Poet Laureate
contract.

7-2: Community Projects RFP: Chair Daly will update the committee on the Request for
Proposals to go before Council in March 2018.
Recommended Action: Receive information and provide feedback.

7-3: Review of Committee Work Plan: The Committee will review the current Work Plan
accomplishments.

7-4: Community Center Foyer Gallery: Member Black will update the committee on the 2018
Community Center Foyer Gallery.

7-5: Albany FilmFest: Member Goodman will provide an update on the 2018 Albany FilmFest.
Recommended Action: Receive information
