Food Truck Friday

Bring your neighbors, friends and family to the Albany food truck extravaganza. Head on down to the Albany Community Center, grab a bite to eat, listen to come crunchy tunes and schmooze with friends under the lights. You earn mega Albany Local Week points just for attending! We provide the chairs and tables. Special thanks to Friends of the Albany Library.

Take the ALBANY LOCAL WEEK Challenge!

The City of Albany Recreation & Community Services Department is challenging residents to see how much they can do, shop, eat and play within Albany's square mile the week of September 23-30, 2017. ALBANY LOCAL WEEK is an opportunity to discover and celebrate what Albany has to offer while supporting our local businesses and organizations. Local businesses are offering Albany Local Week Specials and there are a number of local events taking place during the week. 

2017 Uber Albany Local: 
Keep track of your Albany activities from September 23-30, 2017 and log your progress on the Official Albany Local Week Scorecard. You earn points in categories such as: Food/Drink, Shopping, Services, Health & Beauty, Recreation & Entertainment, Special Events and Good Neighbor. The person with the top score will be honored with his or her name on the UBER ALBANY LOCAL CUP, which will be put on prominent display at the Albany Community Center. 

Everyone who submits their scorecard by October 6, 2017 will receive a limited edition prize. The winner will be announced and crowned "Mr./Mrs. Uber Albany"at a City Council Meeting.
