The City Council subcommittee comprised of Mayor McQuaid and Council Member Nason, will be hosting a community meeting to discuss a draft resolution for Albany to become a Sanctuary City.

Update: the following document is a Revised Draft Sanctuary City Resolution that incorporates preliminary input received to date by the community. This current version is as close as possible to the ACLU’s recommendations and keeps its focus on the topic of Sanctuary City.
