For persons desiring to address the Commission/Committee/Board on an item that is not on the agenda please note that each speaker is limited to three (3) minutes. The Brown Act limits the Committee’s ability to take and/or discuss items that are not on the agenda; therefore, such items are normally referred to staff for comment or to a future agenda.

4.             ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES:

4-1:    Thank you to Commissioner Esbin for his service to the Commission!
4-2:     Parklet/Bus Stop Update: Opening: February 25 from 12-2 pm
4-3:     Pierce Street Park Update: Opening: March 1, 5:30 pm        

5.             PUBLIC HEARING/PRESENTATIONS:           

6.             DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ITEMS ON MATTERS RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

6-1:     Discuss Potential Measure R Funded Projects for the Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
Staff will present an initial list of projects for the Commission to consider for Measure R funding.      

Recommended Action: That the Commission review potential projects and provide feedback and direction to Staff

6-2:     Discuss Dogs in Albany Parks and the Possibility of a Future Dog Park in Albany
Staff will present possible locations and potential funding to the Commission. This is intended to open up the discussion and begin getting feedback from the Community.

Recommended Action: That the Commission discuss item and provide feedback and direction to Staff. Direct Staff to active the Dog Ad Hoc Committee and to host meetings to discuss possibilities with the community and report back to the Commission.

6-3:     Ohlone Greenway Fruit and Nut Tree Plantings
Barath Raghavan from the California Rare Fruit Growers will update the Commission on their progress in planting fruit and nut trees along the Ohlone Greenway.
