6-1 Recommend that Council approve the Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Buchanan Bicycle Pedestrian Path in order for staff to seek grant funding for construction plans and project implementation— Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program and Response to Comments on the project attached. Please bring your copy of the ISMND mailed earlier.
6-2 Introduction to the concept of Complete Streets—information to be distributed at the meeting.
Note: Commission should address how each action above might affect pedestrian and bicycle safety and travel.
7. REPORTS
7-1 Marin Elementary Safe Routes to School grant-Report on Council action to begin design services with AECOM consultants
8. ANNOUNCEMENTS/COMMUNICATIONS
8-1 Email from Farid Javandel regarding two issues: 1) Resolution of the Council to use a portion of the proposed increase in the toll of state bridges to complete pedestrian and bicycle access to the Bay Bridge; 2) Development of an interim plan for bicycle safety along Masonic Avenue due to BART project—Email attached
8-2 City Council study session on the Climate Action Plan scheduled for January 4, 2010.

• Permit parking program for Jackson, Adams and Kains Streets (January, 2010)
• Chokers on Santa Fe Avenue (January, 2010)

• Limited time parking at the southwest side of Solano Avenue adjacent to Subway (February, 2010)
• Climate Action Plan (Staff will have a better idea as to when this discussion should be scheduled after the Council meeting in January, 2010)
• AC Transit bus stop relocation at Solano and San Pablo Avenues (April)
