b. 1157 Brighton Avenue and 420 Cornell Avenue Planning Application 08-056. Subdivision. Request for Subdivision approval to allow a previously approved 4-unit town home to be subdivided into condominiums.

c. 962 Cornell. Continuation of Planning Application 08-044. Parking Exception. Conditional Use Permit. Design Review. Request for Design Review approval to allow a 626 square foot, second-story addition to an existing single-story home. A conditional use permit is requested to allow the vertical extension of the nonconforming northern wall. A parking exception is requested to allow one off-street parking space where two are required.

d. 706 Stannage. Planning Application 08-051. Design Review. Parking Exception. Request for Design Review approval to allow a 443 square foot two-story addition. A parking exception is requested to allow one off-street parking space where two are required.

e. City Council request for comments and recommendations on establishing Paid Parking Program.

5. PUBLIC COMMENT
For persons desiring to address the Commission on an item that is not on the agenda please note that each speaker is limited to three (3) minutes. The Brown Act limits the Commission ability to take and/or discuss items that are not on the agenda; therefore, such items are normally referred to staff for comment or to a future agenda.

6. DISCUSSIONS & POSSIBLE ACTION ON MATTERS RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS

a. 423-427 Talbot. Planning Application 08-037. Parking Exception. Design Review. Request for Design Review approval on an application to construct a new twelve-unit, three-story, multi-family building. A parking exception is also requested to allow a reduced number of parking spaces.

b. 701-705 Hillside . Review of Project Implementation. Planning Application 05-025. Discussion of implementation of project originally approved in 2004 to construct two single-family homes.

c. Resolution of Intention of the Planning and Zoning Commission to Initiate Amendments to the Planning and Zoning Code to Correct and Clarify Development Regulations

7. ANNOUNCEMENTS/COMMUNICATIONS/DISCUSSION

a. Update on City Council actions related to Planning and Zoning.
b. Copy of Appeal filed on Commission approval of project at 904 Santa Fe.


8. FUTURE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA ITEMS

(Staff discussion and Commission member announcement of status of previous agenda items and requests for future agenda items. No public comment will be taken on requests for future agenda items).
