6. PRESENTATION
6-1 General Plan Update: The Draft General Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) was released in November 2015 for public review. Staff will present the Plan highlights. The Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council will hold public hearings on the General Plan and EIR before formal adoption in spring 2016. 7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
7-1 Proposed Art Installation at UC Village Mixed Use Development: Consideration of Proposed Public Art Installation at Retail Component of UC Village Mixed Use Development (1075, 1080, & 1095 Monroe Street) - The developer of the retail component of the project seeks approval of a proposal for an approximately 17-foot high sculpted panel canopy designed by Future Cities Lab to be located on Monroe Avenue.
Staff Recommendation: Make recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Commission, incorporating conditions of approval.
7-2 Public Art Master Plan Revision: The subcommittee will provide an update on revisions to the Master Plan approved by the City Council January 19, 2016.
Staff Recommendation: Receive information.
7-3 Public Art Projects Plan (PAPP): The committee will review potential projects for inclusion in the Public Art Projects Plan.
Staff Recommendation: Begin discussion and identification of projects to be included in the PAPP.
7-4 Economic Development Committee: Chair Goodman will provide an update on a presentation to the Economic Development Committee.
Staff Recommendation: Receive information.
7-5 Arts and Green Festival 2016: The subcommittee will provide an update.
Staff Recommendation: Receive information
7-6 Albany Film Fest: The subcommittee will provide an update.
Staff recommendation: Receive information.
