For persons desiring to address the Commission/Committee/Board on an item that is not on the agenda please note that each speaker is limited to three (3) minutes. The Brown Act limits the Committee’s ability to take and/or discuss items that are not on the agenda; therefore, such items are normally referred to staff for comment or to a future agenda.

5-1: Fair Play in Community Sports Act (AB 2404): A presentation will be given by Kim Turner, Staff Attorney for Fair Play for Girls in Sports, Gender/LGBT Rights Program at the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center.
Recommended Action: That the Commission discuss and provide input to Staff.

5-2: Tree Removal Applications associated with PG&E Pipeline Safety Initiative: The Commission will review the tree removal application submitted by PG&E for the following six (6) trees:
1. 617 Adams Street: Crepe Myrtle
2. 806 Jackson Street: Cork Oak
3. 824 Jackson Street: Pear
4. 848 Jackson Street: Pear
5. 908 Jackson Street: Crepe Myrtle*
6. 924 Jackson Street: Liquid Amber
Recommended Action: That the Commission approve the tree removal applications submitted by PG&E for the Pipeline Safety Initiative. *If Commissioner Pearson is present, a separate vote will be required for 908 Jackson Street.

6. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ITEMS ON MATTERS RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
6-1: Memorial Park Friendship Club Door and Patio Installation: The Commission will review the proposal to install and new door and outdoor patio at the Memorial Park Friendship Club facility.
Recommended Action: That the Commission approve the installation of a new door and patio at the Memorial Park Friendship Club facility.

6-2: Friends of Albany Parks Update: Staff will update the Commission about the recent/upcoming FOAP events.
