4. ANNOUNCEMENTS/DIRECTOR’S REPORT: Emergency Tree Removal 1245 Washington Street; Memo-rial Park Friendship Club New Door, Edible Landscape Project Storage Update
5. PUBLIC HEARING/PRESENTATIONS
5-1: Pierce Street Park: Update from staff on status of Pierce Street Park implementation and potential stockpile of soils on portion of lower level of Pierce Street property near intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Washington Avenue.
Recommended Action: Informational Only
5-2: Tree Removal Application: The Commission will review the tree removal application submitted for 924 Jackson Street.
Recommended Action: That the Commission approve the tree removal application submitted for 924 Jackson Street.

6. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ITEMS ON MATTERS RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
6-1: Ohlone Greenway 100% Plans: RDG will present the Ohlone Greenway 100% Plans and cost estimate to the Commission. If approved the Ohlone Greenway plans and the Masonic Sidewalk plans will go to City Council on September 6, 2016.
Recommended Action: That the Commission approve the Ohlone Greenway 100% Plans.

6-2: Ohlone Greenway Call for Artist: Staff will update the Commission on the Arts Committee’s plan for San Gabriel and Creek Painting elements of the Ohlone Greenway project.

6-3: Recreation Classes and Camps Update: Staff will update the Commission about the classes and camps offered through the Recreation & Community Services Department.

6-4: Friends of Albany Parks Update: Staff will update the Commission about the recent/upcoming FOAP events and discuss possible ideas for the Terrace Park Tree removal scheduled for July 18 (save stumps, give out slices to kids, etc.)
Upcoming: Terrace Park Gala, July 27, 6:30 pm; Terrace Park Clean-Up, August 6, 9 am
