5-1: Tree Removal Application for 921 Kains Avenue: The Commission will review the three tree removal applications submitted for 921 Kains Avenue.

Recommended Action: That the Commission approve the tree removal application submitted for 921 Kains Avenue.

5-2: Tree Removal Application for 1028 Curtis Street: The Commission will review the tree removal appli-cation submitted for 1028 Curtis Street.

Recommended Action: That the Commission approve the tree removal application submitted for 1028 Curtis Street.

5-3: Tree Removal Application for 828 Santa Fe Avenue: The Commission will review the tree removal ap-plication submitted for 828 Santa Fe Avenue.

5-4: Tree Removal Application for 623 Cornell Avenue: The Commission will review the tree removal ap-plication submitted for 623 Cornell Avenue.

6. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ITEMS ON MATTERS RELATED TO THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

6-1: Ohlone Greenway: The Commission will review the two options to replace the faux boulder proposed by Restoration Design Group for the Ohlone Greenway Tot Play area.

Recommended Action: That the Commission approve the two add alternate options for the Ohlone Greenway Tot Play area.

6-2: Relocation of Ocean View Community Garden and creation of an Albany Dog Park: The Commis-sion will provide feedback regarding the relocation of the Ocean View Organic Community Garden (“Community Garden”) to Memorial Park Section B in exchange for developing a dog park where the Community Garden is currently located at Ocean View Park.

Recommended Action: That the Commission provide feedback.

6-3: Memorial Park Bathroom Project: The Commission will provide general input and ideas for how the Memorial Park bathrooms should be improved.

Recommended Action: That the Commission provide input and ideas to staff.


6-4: Friends of Albany Parks Update: Staff will update the Commission about the recent/upcoming FOAP events.

Upcoming: Dartmouth Tot Lot Clean-Up, Saturday, September 10, 9 am; Creekside Park Clean-Up, Saturday, October 1, 9 am

Recommended Action: Informational Only

7. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
(Commissioners announce of requests for future agenda items. No public comment will be taken on announce-ment of future agenda items).

Next Meeting: Thursday, October 13, 2016, 7:00 pm, City Hall Council Chambers, 1000 San Pablo Ave. Please note: There are no public meetings in August.
