NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CITY OF ALBANY ZONING OFFICER

Subject:           PA15-080 Temporary Use Permit for a Haunted House Event at 1048 Peralta Ave.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is seeking approval of a temporary use permit to hold a haunted house event in the backyard of the residence at 1048 Peralta Ave. The applicant is proposing to hold the event Friday October 23, Saturday October 24, and Friday October 30th from 7pm-9:30pm. The applicant would also like to operate on Saturday October 31 from 6pm-10pm. The event is open to the general public. The event involves the construction of a large temporary structure in the rear yard.

CITIZEN PARTICIPATION: Members of the public are encouraged to attend the public hearing and address the Zoning Officer on this matter. Persons interested in submitting written correspondence on an item listed on the agenda are requested to submit the correspondence in advance of the meeting so that copies can be made.

NOTICE CONCERNING LEGAL RIGHTS: Pursuant to Government Code Section 65009, if you challenge a decision of the City Council in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at a public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing.
