The Watershed Project and the City of Albany are partnering to host this annual clean-up event at Albany Beach. California Coastal Cleanup Day, an annual beach and inland waterway cleanup, is the state's largest volunteer event. Coastal Cleanup Day is a great way for families, students, service groups, and neighbors to join together, take care of our fragile marine environment, show community support for our shared natural resources, learn about the impacts of marine debris and how we can prevent them, and to have fun! Wear old clothes, a hat and sunscreen, and bring your own water bottle and gloves if you have them. Supplies and refreshments provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
