The City's street sweeping program is currently under review due to an abrupt service cancellation by the company contracted to conduct street sweeping.
The City is in process of contracting with another street sweeping company to provide interim sweeping services. The temporary vendor feels your neighborhood is very busy on Friday afternoons and has requested a possible alternative. You will be notified as soon as we get confirmation should there be a temporary change in your normal schedule. Thank you for your patience as we sort the situation out.
The City is also working towards a long-term solution and we anticipate requesting approval from the City Council in March to issue a Request for Proposals for Citywide Street Sweeping Services, with a new contract in place thereafter.
