Task Force Purpose
The Youth Task Force is responsible for implementing the goals detailed in the City of Albany Youth Master Plan. The Youth Master Plan represents this community’s commitment to supporting parents and guardians to raise healthy and responsible children. The Youth Master Plan was developed in 1995 to assist the City in highlighting the importance of prevention as a tool in reducing youth crime and promoting the need to invest more resources in prevention and intervention strategies for youth.  

The Youth Task Force meets on a quarterly basis and is comprised of members from various agencies within the City of Albany who work with youth.

Meetings
The Youth Task Force meets quarterly on the 3rd Thursday of the month. The Youth Task Force will meet on the following dates in the 2008 calendar year:

Thursday, January 17th
Thursday, April 17th
Thursday, June 15th
Thursday, September 18th

Meetings are held from 11:45-1pm in the Edith Stone Room at the Albany Community Center
